Tools for School Drive
We are excited to announce that this years tools for school drive was a huge success! thanx to you we recieved enough donations to equipt 1550 children for school this year. Distribution day was Saturday August 18th. and hundreds of families came out to recieve supplies at one of the 3 distribution sites. THANK YOU AGAIN TO ALL OF YOU WHO GAVE TO THIS NEED. YOU DEFFINATELY MADE A DIFFERENCE IN A CHILDS LIFE.

oh yea, the Discipleship stuff i was going to mention
We have just added Discipleship groups to the ministry of Life Center. Which as Matt mentioned are going awesome. The small group settings keeps people fromk getting lost in the crowd. It is designed to Help us all be accountable to each other. Jesus said in Matthew 28:20 to teach new disciples to obey all the commands i have given you. The vision is to teach disciples so they can teach disciples. There are 3 groups up and running now. 12 individules are currently being discipled. We have approx. 12 more wainting to be discipled. If you feel you have what it takes to be a disciple of Jesus please contact the Life Center.

Tools for school
Just to let everyone know that we have a Tools for School drive going on thru the 20th of July. We have some huge goals because the children of our city have a huge need. Please check out the links and do what you can to help the children in our city recieve the Education they deserve

Small Groups.
Some of you may know that we have changed things here at Life Center a bit, but if you ask me it has been for the good. We have started to be intentional in our pursuit of people to grow the Kingdom of God. Instead of just offering handouts we are now offering relationship and assistance through those relationships. We have a very wide variety of groups from teens to moms to dads and even grandparents(so you can see people are still receiving assistance). There is a group for anyone who wants to grow.
My first group with some teens went way better than I could have ever expected. I have led many small groups before but they were always 10-20-30 people(not really a small group, really a small church) so with less people it was much easier to get conversation going and to communicate effectively.
I will leave you with this, maybe you are thinking of starting a group or maybe your not I would encourage you to to step out and for the sake of others lives and the Kingdom intentionally pursue people.

At Last
We have finally figured out how to blog! I want to thank you for your patience and also thank Justin for helping us get it together:)
As of right now, there are many things going on and I am trying to keep everything up to date. Our biggest event going on is Tools For School. Make sure you visit the page and contact us if you want to help out with the packing or distribution.
